Specialties & Areas of Focus

Nervous system-focused healing.

Trauma can look a lot of ways.

Sometimes it looks like anxiety that won’t turn off.
Like overthinking every decision.
Like emotional numbness.
Like feeling disconnected from yourself.
Like reacting in ways you don’t understand.

I specialize in working with complex and developmental trauma, the kind that builds over time and shapes how you see yourself, others, and the world.

If your nervous system feels stuck in survival mode, we can begin shifting that together.

If you're unsure if this approach can help, please reach out. We can discuss it together in a consultation call.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing psychotherapy treatment concept Letters EMDR

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or present.

Instead of just talking about what happened, EMDR helps your brain and nervous system digest it.

EMDR can help with:

  • Childhood trauma

  • Postpartum trauma

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Negative core beliefs (“I’m not enough,” “I’m too much”)

  • Triggers that feel disproportionate

  • Medical trauma or difficult life events

  • Grief and loss

This work is always done at a pace that prioritizes safety and regulation first.

Parts Work Therapy (IFS-Informed)

Many clients describe feeling like different “parts” of them are constantly in conflict:

  • One part wants to move forward

  • Another part shuts down

  • One part is highly critical

  • Another feels small and overwhelmed

Parts work helps us understand these internal systems rather than fight them.

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
We begin asking, “What happened to me and how did I adapt?”

This approach builds self-compassion, integration, and clarity.

Somatic & Nervous System-Based Therapy

Trauma is stored not just in memory but in the body.

If you experience:

  • Chronic tension

  • Dissociation

  • Restlessness

  • Fatigue

  • Feeling “on edge”

  • Difficulty calming down

Your nervous system may still be operating from past threat.

Somatic work helps you:

  • Build regulation skills

  • Increase body awareness

  • Restore a sense of safety internally

  • Feel calm in your body, sometimes for the first time

Many clients describe it as finally being able to take a full breath.

Individual Talk Therapy

Not all work is trauma reprocessing.

Sometimes therapy is about:

  • Processing relationship stress

  • Rebuilding identity

  • Strengthening boundaries

  • Developing coping tools

  • Moving through major life transitions

I will meet you exactly where you are.
